A 12,000 seat, three-tier sports and entertainment arena with 42 suites on a dedicated level, loge box seating, and an exclusive club lounge adjacent to a stage area designed for modern concert tours. Because modern arenas earn most of their revenue through an annual calendar of concerts, the space was designed for superior sight lines and excellent acoustics – resulting in more of a theater for sports than an arena for concerts. Working closely with the developer and contractor as an accelerated design-build delivery team, the project was completed in 25 months from the beginning of design to opening day. The grand opening concert was Bob Dylan during his “Never Ending” tour.
